Molly Gerrish Earns PhD

Molly (Meyer) Gerrish, a 1992 graduate of Belle Plaine High School and daughter of lifelong Belle Plaine residents Gerald and Carman Meyer, recently received her PhD in education.
Dr. Gerrish is a professor of education at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a specialization in early childhood education. Gerrish has been a professor at UWRF since 2006 and also serves as the coordinator for the early childhood program as well as the edTPA advisor for the early childhood degree completion program at UWRF.
Dr. Gerrish received the 2013 Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year Award for the College of Education and Professional Studies at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF).
Gerrish received her Bachelor of Science from UWRF and her Master of Science from UWRF and, most recently received her PhD from Walden University in the Early Childhood Program. Gerrish completed the program with a 4.0 grade-point-average.
