The Academic High Honor and Honor lists (Dean’s lists) for the past fall semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato have been announced by Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Marilyn Wells.
Among 3,046 students, a total of 735 students qualified for the High Honor List by achieving a 4.0 straight “A” average, while 2,311 students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 average to qualify for the Honor List.
High honor students from Belle Plaine are Megan Kathan and Claire Otto. Honor students are Clair Brazil, Richard Brennhofer, Lance Bressler, Mikhayla Clausen, Haley Fogarty, Alexandra Hartman, Abby Luskey, Kurt Ohnsorg, Emily Otto, Jenessa Rudell, Allison Stolee and Antonio Vesselinov.
Samantha Bartz of Belle Plaine received the University of Wisconsin-Stout Chancellor’s Award for the fall 2014 semester. The award is presented to students who have a grade-point-average of 3.5 or above.
Nicholas Zurn of Belle Plaine has earned the distinction of being named to the Dean’s List for the 2014 fall semester at Saint John’s University. To be included on the list, students must have a semester grade-point-average of at least 3.80 and have completed 12 credits.
Katelyn Zurn of Belle Plaine has earned the distinction of being named to the Dean’s List for the 2014 fall semester at the College of Saint Benedict. To be included on the list, students must have a semester grade-point-average of at least 3.80 and have completed 12 credits.
Ryan Johnson of Belle Plaine was named to the Dean’s List at Alexandria Community and Technical College for achieving a grade-point-average of 3.5 or higher for the Fall Semester 2014.
Dylan Wenninger-Parsons of Belle Plaine, a freshman computer science and pre-mathematics education major is a member of the Honors Club at Southwest Minnesota State University for the 2014-15 academic year.
