Le Sueur Turns to Co-op for Help Hiring City Administrator

At the recommendation of its former city administrator, the Le Sueur City Council is hiring help to assist in finding a new administrator.
The council recently OK’d a contract with South Central Services Cooperative and Wendell Sande. Former Administrator Jenelle Teppen recommended the council utilize the cooperative’s services, the Le Sueur News-Herald recently reported.
Sande will lead the search. The contract with the cooperative is expected to run through the end of June. It will cost the city $5,000. The money could be used for a variety of expenses related to hiring a new city administrator.
Sande told the city council he expects to have a candidate in place by mid-June.
