Carver County commissioners recently reported that County Administrator David Hemze had earned a performance rating of “outstanding” for his work during 2016.
Commissioners recently evaluated Hemze’s performance during a closed-door meeting. He was lauded for sound judgment and hiring talented people for a sound leadership team, according to Kerie Anderka, the county’s director of Employee Relations. He was credited for administrative successes at every level, the Norwood Young America Times recently reported.
Anderka said Hemze’s performance and contributions to county residents have been noted by the community and appreciated by the commissioners. Commissioner Tom Workman of Chanhassen said Hemze and the county have had “a good year.”
Hemze modestly deflected praise to other staff and elected officials for the successes he shepherded during the past year.
