The borough council passed an ordinance establishing fire limits and prohibiting the erection of frame buildings within the designated district.
Fred Oldenburg sold his farm in Blakeley Township to William Kerkow and moved to Henderson.
A 28-pound sturgeon was caught in Hillstrom Lake and was exhibited about town.
Jackson Bros. bought W.F. Latzke’s farm of 160 acres for $7,300 and arranged to dispose of their lumber business in town and begin farming.
The social event of the winter was the marriage of Miss Louise Schmitt to Fred J. Gericke of London, Wis.
Capt. John Moriarty died at the age of 61 and the funeral was held under the auspices of Geo. Bradley Post G.A.R. For many years before his death he was almost totally blind.
