Amanda Wickenhauser, daughter of Tom and Brenda Wickenhauser, and Brandon Schmidt, son of Bob and Beth Schmidt, were united in marriage on October 13, 2012 at St. Bernard’s in Cologne by Father Martin Shallbetter.
The bride was given in marriage by her Father. Maid of honor was Molly Wickenhauser, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Peterson and Amanda Meierbachtol, both friends of the bride. Flower girl was Makenna Gerres, cousin of the bride. Usherettes were Amanda Schmidt, sister-in-law to the couple, and Melissa Luedloff, friend of the bride. Personal attendant was Sarah Vizecky, friend of the bride.
The groom’s best man was Brad Schmidt, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Brian Schmidt, brother of the groom, and Andy Holladay, friend of the groom. Ring bearer was Lucas Schmidt, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Steven Gerres and Kellen Schmidt, cousins of the groom.
The ceremony took place at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Cologne with the reception, dinner and dance following at the Arlington Community Center.
Amanda is a 2007 graduate of Belle Plaine High School and a 2009 graduate of Hennepin Technical College. Amanda is employed at the State Bank of Belle Plaine.
Brandon is a 2003 graduate of Belle Plaine High School and a 2005 graduate of Hennepin Technical College. Brandon is employed at Hartman Cabinets in Belle Plaine.
The couple is now residing in Belle Plaine.
